How to Recover a Deleted Gmail Account?

You can recover your deleted Gmail account if the account is not permanently deleted. Google allows an interval of time for the recovery of the account. To recover a deleted Gmail account, follow these procedures below:

Steps to recover a deleted Gmail account:

Google account recovery page:

Go to the Google account recovery page.

Input deleted Gmail address:

Enter the Gmail address you wish to recover and click on the Next button.

Enter your last password you can remember :

You are required to enter the last password you remember for the account, in case you don't know your password. Just click Try another way to proceed with your recovery options, like verification through a recovery phone or email.

Complete the verification:

Google will send a verification code to your recovery email or to your recovery phone number. Just follow their steps for verification of your account.

Set a new password:

You will be prompted to create a new password for your Gmail account after verification. Make sure that it is strong and not used before.

Sign into your recovered account

Once you have reset the password, you should be able to see your email, contacts, and settings in the account.

Important note:

There is a recovery process within a short time period; normally, it would be 20 to 30 days after account deletion. Too long and the account will have been permanently deleted, hence, recovery impossible.
